Mabuhay ang Pilipinas! Congratulations to Leo Oracion for summiting Mt. Everest. U.P. Mountaineer Romy "Garduch" Garduce should be attempting a summit assault by tomorrow. Next year, the First Philippine Mt. Everest Expedition (FPMEE) will attempt to summit Everest as a TEAM.
I look forward to more Pinoys climbing Chomalungma, the seven summits (mountains over 8,000 meters), and exploring more of the world.
Now if only we can fix our economy and politics...
